Purchased an Entourage Pocket Edge eReader/Android tablet from these clowns. AFter waiting nearly a monthfor this to finally arrive the device developed a very noticeable flicker on the LCD screen, so I returned it to them. They promptly sent it straight back with evidence of the "testing" they carried out, still with the same unpleasant flickering screen. So I'm stuck with an un-watchable device. Thanks FirstIn, I'm hoping this post will serve to warn others off falling into the trap I did. -

Ordered a tablet from them, estimated shipping date was two WEEKS afterwards...after about 4 days of the initial sale they listed the SAME item for $100 cheaper for new orders even though original buyers hadn't even received the item yet! I e-mailed to see why existing buyers can't get a discount on their purchase and was replied back with a rude response. He also said 2 weeks is pretty standard because the item was coming in from overseas and to check the estimated delivery date. They need to make the estimated delivery date more obvious when you purchase the item. By the way, it is now 2 1/2 weeks and still no sign of delivery and no e-mail from them about how much longer it will take...do NOT buy anything from these guys! -

Bought a Sony recertified (they called it) voice recorder. It took 14 days to arrive. When it arrived I find it is a refurbished item. I would not have bought it if I had knbown this. Wish me luck in getting a refund............. I will repost how I get on............. -

I brought a product off them a couple of weeks ago. It was a PC - TV sender. And maybe it works... when I go to China, Korea or wherever the plugs with it actually fit into the wall I will let you know! Nowhere was it stated that the product was an import with plugs that dont fit NZ power sockets. This was not one but two things that need to be plugged in to use it.
I have tried to contact them with no response
Stupidly I brought another item off them - an ipod holder which you plug into your cigarette lighter in your car. It had a usb point and said it would charge any device (ph, mp3 player, ipod etc) which had a usb plug to charge it off.
So I put this thing into my car, and as I was trying to adjust it so that my phone was looking at me and not the floor the hinge between the holder and the bit that goes into the cig lighter fell apart - I had to dig around the floor of my car to find this bit off the end of it and try and put it back together. Next it would not stay upright and every time I turned a corner it tipped sideways and threw my ph on the floor.
Finally I was driving somewhere for the weekend - had my ph on gps navigation thinking this thing was charging it via usb when suddenly half an hour out my ph goes flat - leaving me wandering the streets at night trying to find the place. I used this thing for maybe 40 minutes before it stopped functioning at all! When I tried to take the phone out and look at it to see why it was not getting power /usb any more the things that hold the phone or ipod in place - one of them fell off! Basically you touch this thing and something falls off. Its the worst load of rubbish ever.
Ive come to the conclusion from my purchases and the other posts that this place sell cheap nasty s--t that is not selling elsewhere because it doesnt work or is very bad quality.
Im going to my credit card company on Monday and seeing if I can get them to refund my money - thank god I didnt buy one of their computers! If you are even thinking of buying from this site DO NOT! They are selling cheaply made faulty rubbish unfit for its advertised purpose. And they dont seem to give a dam about their customers. Ive been waiting 2 weeks now with no response.
If my bank wont reverse the charge then Ill go to consumer affairs or small claims.... BEWARE!! -

I bought a product of First-in at the end of 2008 and it broke. We rang Adam Brown to arrange a return and were promised a full refund. For 3 months after that our numerous emails and phone calls were ignored and we only received a full refund after advising him by mail that we were taking him to court. This excercise cost us over $30!!! -

I purchased a product from firstin only to have it break. This is normal a not a problem with me if the company repairs/replaces the damaged good, as per the consumers act. Adam (The owner I think) after many emails and a phone call proceeded to lie to me about tracking numbers, neglict to reply to emails. All round very poor service. The sale was completed in Decemeber 2008 and I still have nothing. I paid to return the product as well!!!
My advise, don't deal with them.
We will be seeing Adam on fair go soon.
