02/05/2012 paid $29.95 p/m plus $10 p/m for one (1) dedicated IP. Between 02/05/2012 and 04/05/2012 sent two support tickets asking when hosting would be set-up, both closed without reply. Tried calling both AU and NZ support numbers, again zero help. Finally tried live chat which was also off-line, followed by direct email. Again no reply!
When signed-up on 02/05/2012 there was a request to donate $5 to the RSPCA. 247hosting claimed to match dollar for dollar on all donations. Was this rort too? Is Caleb using the RSPCA's good name to garnish bogus donations?
DO yourself a BIG favour and avoid both Caleb Carrington (aka Caleb Finlay, aka Caleb Gower) and 247hosting. He also owns flexihost[dot]co[dot]nz and a few other sites too. -

This company stole our domain names from us. We transferred over 30 into their system, and they changed them into their own name, then shut our account without reason. We had $75 credit with them. I wish we had seen the Fair Go review on that company. http://tvnz.co.nz/fair-go/july-20-4315769 -

Well as the subject says stay away from 24/7 Hosting, we got suckered in by this company only to find the owner has been sent to jail multiple times for fraud and playing with goats. Just search his name (Calib Finley) and you will see all the articles! Refused to refund us even though the website states 2 Day Moneyback, support is poor and they make it seem like they have multiple staff when in fact it's just one old man who started this company when he got released from prison. Maybe he should go back to chopping up firewood instead of conning more people!

I can't thank the entire team enough for going beyond the call of duty getting my website and web application to work. After many hours of frustration with my old web host I asked 24/7 Hosting if I could have a trial account to see if they can get it to work and after a few hours they managed to get it all working after some coding changes and when I asked how much I owe they said it's free!
I was amazed and I honestly can't thank the team at 24/7 Hosting enough.
